Milpitas Elementary Science Olympiad

MESO (Milpitas Elementary Science Olympiad) is back!

What is MESO? 

MESO is an inter school competition that is open for all elementary schools in Milpitas, CA. This event is dedicated to improve the quality of science education, create interest in science and provide recognition for outstanding achievements. Teams from different elementary schools would participate in 22 diverse events broadly covering topics related to
  • Biological Science (5 events)
  • Physical Science (4 events)
  • Earth and Space Science (4 events)
  • Inquiry of Science (3 events)
  • Engineering and Technology (6 events)

When & Where is MESO? 
Saturday, May 25th, 2019 ;  8:30am - 6:00pm
Milpitas High School (1285, Escuela Parkway, Milpitas, CA 95035)

Who can participate in MESO?
All the kids from 2nd to 6th grade, who enjoy science as family activity can participate in MESO. 
A team can have up to 18 students (no more than six 6th graders in one team) and we can nominate as many teams as possible from Curtner.
PLEASE NOTE- For the preparation of MESO, it is must to have parents/guardians to equally participate and motivate their kids.

Next Steps for MESO
Team from Curtner PTA is looking for nominations from 2nd to 6th grade students along with parents/gaurdians as the coach. Registration cost will be covered by PTA.

After receiving the nominations, parent meeting would be schedule to plan for the event.
